Finding hope after divorce

Hope is the one thing that improves learning, provides resilience, and keeps the motivation alive.

Hope can feel like a fleeting, floating dream. But it can be restored, it takes time and effort, but it will be worth the work. Today I will share some tips to guide you along the path to restoring your hope. Step one - Positive people bring energy to your life. Surround yourself with people that make you smile. Their upbeat attitude and outlook on life can become contagious and spill over onto you. Step two - Make a list of the positive things in your life and your accomplishments. If you opened your eyes this morning, you did a lot today, if you were able to stand on your own, that is powerful. Now think of a few other things. Step three - Stop calling things, mistakes, and failures. Those experiences were learning opportunities that you are growing from, and you now will know what to do should your face those experiences again. Step four - Faith in action, rely on your faith to get you through some of these things. Take time to have quiet meditation; I have a clickable resource link at the bottom of this page that contains healing scriptures for the divorced.

Step five - Trust yourself, you have made some good choices throughout your life. You have already proven your ability to take care of yourself and that you can survive. Now it the time to give yourself grace and be kind to yourself. Step six - Focus on the future and what you want your life to look like six months from now. What would a great experience look like in a year, how about five years down the line? Dream again, about future trips, starting a business, and completing your goals. Step seven - Live with gratitude in your life, accept that things will change and trouble will soon pass. There you have it, seven tips for seven days, and when the week is over, go back to step one. As always, be bold, be brave, be brilliant! Healing Scriptures for the Woman who has been hurt by divorce
